Advice From a Law Enforcement Professional For Your Movie Or Screenplay

I'm John Martin Harris, Master Sergeant with the Madison County, Mississippi Sheriff's Department. I work as a Narcotics Officer with my K-9 partner, as well as a trainer for other K-9 units. And I'd like to put my law enforcement experience to work for you.

Written a screenplay but you're not sure if the cops are saying the right thing? Shooting a movie where the police are chasing down the bad guys but you're wondering if that's how the professionals really do it? Ask me, and I can help you out.

I'm a lifelong movie fan, and I'd like to use my experience as a police officer as a way to work in the entertainment industry. At this point I'm simply looking to help producers and writers with any questions they might have and get some credits for my resume, and hopefully work my way into a full-time position as a law enforcement consultant in television and film.

Below is a copy of my resume, as well as a partial list of my accreditations. Be it questions about terminology, weapons usage, narcotics investigations, or anything else a police officer does in his or her time on the force, please feel free to consult me for the answers.

(PS: I'm also interested in working security on film sets. If you're interested in hiring me for the position, please contact me at madisonso31@earthlink.net .)
